Terms & Conditions
Before you read Carsafest’s terms and conditions we encourage you to remember that Carsafest is a charity event held to raise money for worthwhile causes. Carsafest is not a commercial venture and we do not offer refunds in the event of extreme weather or acts of god (such as pandemics) which may lead to the cancellation of the ‘Carsafest 2023’ event.
In these terms and conditions ‘the event’ refers to Carsafest 2023 to be held on Friday 23rd June 2023 and Saturday 24th June 2023, ‘attendee’ refers to you or anyone you are purchasing tickets for, and ‘the committee’ or ‘the event organiser refers to the Carsafest Committee and all its members. The ‘official event security provider’ refers to the third party security firm employed by the committee to provide crowd safety measurements and entry management.
Personal Cancellation
Please make sure when you book your tickets you can attend the event. Tickets are for personal use only. Once you have booked your ticket we won’t be able to cancel or exchange them. If you are no longer able to attend the event, you may re-sell your ticket for the face value of the ticket unless specifically prohibited by law or the event organiser. Anyone purchasing resold tickets accepts these terms and conditions. Tickets sold or being offered for sale for commercial gain or profit is strictly prohibited and we reserve the right to cancel such tickets without refund and/or refuse entry to the event.
Event Cancellation
Please be aware that it is your responsibility to check the event is going ahead as advertised. The committee cannot always guarantee that we can let you know of event changes, but we do try to do so. If the event is cancelled, or the date is changed after you have booked, we will not be able to offer a refund.
Ticket Cost & Charitable Donations
The individual ticket fee for event is classified as a charitable donation and as such is strictly non-refundable.
Date Changes
In the highly unlikely event that the date of the event has to be changed, all purchased tickets will be transferred to the new date and all attendees will be notified via email using the contact details provided at the point of sale. Those attendees not able to make the amended dates will not be able to claim a refund as tickets are non-refundable.
Event Arrangements
Should the event be postponed or cancelled, the committee cannot be held liable for any additional costs you may incur for personal arrangements such as travel, accommodation, subsistence or any other associated service relating to the event.
Lineup Changes
If any of the advertised headline acts do not appear at the event, or if the expected format of the event is dramatically changed from the information which has been advertised, no refund can be offered. The committee will make every effort to source suitable replacements for all advertised headline acts.

Event Admission
Admission to the event is reserved by the committee and the official event security provider. We may request to conduct security searches at our reasonable discretion for safety reasons before allowing you admission to the event. Please be accommodating to such wishes, failing to do so could result in you being refused entry.
Event Admission Refusal
The committee cannot refund tickets for anyone who is refused entry, or thrown out of the due to any of the following:
- Late arrival, being or appearing to be underage (see notes below*) or declining to be searched.
- Abusive, threatening, drunken or antisocial behaviour, which includes smoking in a non-smoking area.

Ticket Allowance
There is a maximum limit of 10 of each type of ticket allowed that any one person can purchase via the Carsafest website. The committee retains the right to refuse orders they deem to be excessive and to cancel any such attempts to make such a purchase. We operate a fair ticket allocation policy to give everyone a fairer chance of getting tickets for the event.
Ticket Variants
Where the term “ticket” or “tickets” is used in these terms and conditions, during the booking process, and in confirmation emails, we refer to the method by which you will gain entry to the event, which for the purpose of this event will not involve the issuing of a traditional “paper” ticket. By purchasing a ticket for the event you will be issued a digital ticket number via email which our gate entry team will use to confirm your entry on the day of the event. Upon arrival your ticket number and attendee name will be checked and if confirmed a wristband will be issued. All purchased tickets will require you to provide an attendee name which will be used to confirm each attendee’s identity on the day of the event.
Payment Issues
Orders are accepted subject to payment being received from the card issuer. If we are unable to obtain payment, we reserve the right to cancel your order. However, we will do our best to contact you and obtain payment by other means first of all.
Fraud Checks
With fraud unfortunately being a growing concern in our industry, you may be asked to provide us with additional information after your booking so that we can verify your purchase. Please understand that this is for the safety of your ticket purchase and the security of your card information.
Refunds
Where you are due a refund; the refund will be made to the original card used for the purchase. This will normally show in your account 14-28 working days from the date of the refund being issued. If the card used has expired or you no longer have the account, we must wait for the refund to be rejected by the issuing bank. This will extend the timescale in getting the refund to you. Only when the refund has been rejected, can we then issue the refund to an alternative card. We may ask you for written confirmation that this new card belongs to you and you agree for the refund to be applied to it; failure to provide this confirmation will mean we cannot process a refund to you.
Bank Charges
All payment and refund transactions, irrespective of currency, originate from the UK. The committee cannot be held liable for any additional charges your bank or credit card provider may apply to your transaction, such charges are completely out of our control.
Data Protection
By placing an order you confirm that you understand that you are agreeing to be contacted by the committee with additional marketing information about tickets for artists and events that may be of interest to you and other related information from our sponsors. If you do not wish to receive this information you will be able to opt out of any future marketing emails via unsubscribe links.
Pricing Errors
While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of ticket(s) you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as accepted and no refund will be given.
Order Acceptance
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on confirmation of your order via email unless we notify you that we have not been able to accept your order for any of the reasons outlined in these terms and conditions.
Thanks for taking the time to read these terms and conditions and we’ll hopefully see you at Carsafest 2023!
